What to Expect with Winter Weather Scenarios

There is a chill to our days now, and winter will be here before we know it! With that in mind, here are some reminders of potential winter-weather scenarios and what you can expect:
Closure - All schools / district offices will be closed. There will be no remote learning. All activities will be canceled.
Two-Hour Delay - All in-person school start times and bus pick-up times will be two (2) hours later. All a.m.-only preschool and a.m.-only kindergarten classes will be canceled. Check your school’s website for the adjusted schedule.
Early Dismissal - All schools and district offices will close at a specified time. Middle and high schools will release approximately two (2) hours before elementary schools to allow for Transportation routes. All afterschool and evening activities will be canceled.
In the event of inclement weather or potential inclement weather, the district team will closely monitor the current conditions and forecasts, test road conditions, and discuss with other entities in our area. Student and staff safety is our most important consideration when making weather-related school decisions.
In the case of any of the above scenarios, we will send a message through ParentSquare, as well as post updates on the district’s website and Facebook page as soon as possible. Please make sure your contact information is up-to-date through the Infinite Campus app or website. If you don’t have an Infinite Campus account, visit our Parent Applications Dashboard page for a how-to guide or contact your school’s front office.
